Where It All Began
My love for the 1971 Chevelle started when I was just six years old. Long before the internet and cell phones, I’d stare at a poster on my bedroom wall, dreaming about the day I might own one.
That dream grew into a love for all muscle cars from the ’60s to the early ’70s—their bold lines, rumbling engines, and the character that makes each one special. Every one of them gives me a reason to stop, look, and smile. But the ’71 Chevelle will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s where it all began.
Today, when I look at my Chevelle, I still feel that same childhood wonder. Some people see an old car. I see the poster on my wall—and the six-year-old kid who wished for it.
